Two swindlers told the emperor that their clothes had special functions. It can identify whether a person is competent and stupid. The emperor believed them, gave them gold and raw silk, and had a lot of money to make clothes. The emperor asked the old minister to see what the cloth looked like. When the old minister went, he saw nothing. He was afraid that he would be told that he was incompetent and lied that he could see the cloth. So did another official. The clothes are ready. Everyone praises the clothes that don't exist. "Smart" emperor dare not say he can't see the clothes, he wore this "beautiful" clothes parade, a naive child told the truth.
