Describe a teacher who has greatly influenced
you(人物题),Describe an object you use everyday(物品题)...
Describe?
以a washing machine为例,我们能想到的内容可能是颜色,Its color is white. 大小,It‘s one meter high.
The reason why I chose this color is that it matches well with my bathroom and besides, white has always been my favorite color. It’s clean. You know.
It is actually the smallest size at that time. I put it in the corner, and it takes only a little space
How has technology changed people‘s life?
Well, technology did change our life a lot. Take my family as an example, ten years ago, we used electric fan in hot summer but now the air-conditioning brings us more comfort.
(The new standard of plastic bags)的制定和执行;或者转成工作问题,讲”劳工法“(The Labor Law)。
Describe a song that reminds you of a particular time.
You should say:
what it is about
what particular time it reminds you
how often you listen to it
and explain why you think it is special to you.
I’m sure a lot of people have a song that reminds them of their first kiss or a childhood memory, but one song that always brings a smile to my face is Gangnam Style by the South Korean artist, Psy.
The song is all in Korean, so I’m not particularly sure what it is about. I know that Gangnam is a rich area of the Seoul, the capital of South Korea, a bit like Beverly Hills in California. The video for the song is very random, with tongue-in-cheek jokes about money and being wealthy.
When I hear the song, it takes me back to my time at university. I can remember when it first started to appear on the internet, on social media and video sites like YouKu. I would watch it with my roommates in my dorm and in class on my phone. Then it really took off and it seemed to be everywhere, in shops, on TV and especially in bars and nightclubs.
Back then I used to listen to Gangnam Style all the time, you couldn’t really escape it, but nowadays it isn’t played so often. It’s been overtaken by new catchy songs like Xiao Pingguo, which means ‘little apple’.
To be honest, these days I find the song a bit annoying. I think it was overplayed and people got tired of it. But I guess it still holds a special place in my mind as it reminds me of being young and at university, of staying up late with my friends and watching videos on the internet until the early hours.
Describe a piece of local news that people were interested in.
You should say:
what it was about
when you heard/ read about it
what the story was
and explain why it was interesting to you.
I came across this intriguing article in a newspaper I read at my school’s library. It involved how positive attitudes have greatly affected people‟s success, based on the story of how alocal woman had never given up her dream and had now become a world-famous novelist.
According to the news story, optimistic people are more likely to be successful. Since they look at the bright side, their lives are always full of enjoyment. Therefore, when running intoproblems, optimists try their best to work out solutions. This leads them to great achievements. In contrast, pessimistic people tend to act negatively, which not only puts them under a lot of strain, but also has a bad impact on their performance and people around them.
Since I read this news, I have tried to maintain positive attitudes about everything. Whenever I fail to do something, I will not blame myself but work harder to overcome such failure. I hope that, like this woman, everybody can learn to be optimistic about whatever situationthey face.
