宜昌市自学考试自2007年起实行一年四次考试，2007年7月份考试时间为7月7日、8日。
7月自考报名时间也已确定为5月10日——5月20日。7月自考报名宜昌市所有考生均需登陆宜昌教育招生考试中心网站（网址：www.hbyczk.com）进行网上报名（不接受新生报名），宜昌市教育招生考试中心不接收任何单位和个人的手工报名。
7月自考所有县市区均不设立自考考点，所有报考考生均需到宜昌城区参加考试。
