持有广西自考卡的考生，从2008年9月30日起至考试前，可以在网上查询2008年10月自学考试的考点、考场和座位安排信息。
一般考生可用收费（每次2元）短信查询。查询办法为：广西移动和广西联通用户，发送“zkkc#”+准考证号，发到106255996.请注意其中的#号也是必须发送出去的字符。以准考证号010203040506为例，应该发送的字符为：zkkc#010203040506。
考生可在当地自考办规定的时间内领取考试通知单（可以不领，参加考试不需要携带考试通知单）。
