出入人生

王国维在《人间词话》中有这样一段论述:“诗人对宇宙人生,须入乎其内,又须出乎其外。入乎其内,故能写之,出乎其外,故能观之;入乎其内,故有生气,出乎其外,故有高致。”

从这段话中,我们不仅能看出这位国学大师独特的为文之道,而且能感悟到其中深蕴的人生智慧:人而为事,出能观之,方能立于不败之地。

所谓“入”,也就是我们常说的“钻进去”。做事时全身心的投入是必要的,这样才能保证我们成事的决心和做事的效率。而浮于表层正是成功的死敌,浅尝辄止的结果是使我们象寓言里的那只鼹鼠,门门懂却样样瘟,终究做不好一件事。

有一个故事大家都不会陌生,说的是罗丹在工作时差点把他的客人茨威格锁在工作室里。从这件事中,我们不难看出罗丹对工作的投入到了何等程度,他“钻进去”工作,竟忘掉了整个世界。后来茨威格回忆说,那天他在罗丹工作室学到的比在学校学到的东西还多。这种“入”的境界和知识同样重要。纵观古今,大凡成事者无不有“入”的决心。“入”才有王羲之写完的18缸墨水,“入”才有玄奘取经跋涉几万里的行程,“入”才有陈景润演算的几十麻袋的稿纸。有了“入”,一切才有成功的可能。

With "in", everything is possible to succeed.

当然,这里所说的“入”并不代表一味蛮干,而是要与“出”相协调的。

苏轼的《题西林壁》中有这样一句:“不识庐山真面目,只缘身在此山中。”这句诗对“出”的必要作了最好的阐释。我们做事是由主观意识起着主导作用,而人的想法谁也不能保证不出一丝纰漏。荀子曰“智者干虑,必有一失”,当我们出现失误时,如果不能及时纠正,就可能误入歧途,等我们醒悟过来时,也只能哀叹“一失足成千古恨”了。所以,在做事为人时,跳出主观的圈子,从旁观者的角度审视自己是很重要的,这样才能使我们少犯错误。

We do things by subjective consciousness plays a leading role, and no one can guarantee that there is no mistake in people's ideas. Xunzi said, "if a wise man worries, there will be a mistake." when we make a mistake, if we can't correct it in time, we may go astray. When we wake up, we can only lament that "a mistake becomes eternal hatred". Therefore, when doing things as human beings, it is very important to jump out of the subjective circle and look at ourselves from the perspective of bystanders, so that we can make fewer mistakes.

英国数学家多番维尔倾注了三十多年的精力,把圆周率值推算到小数点后八百多位。可是后人发现,他在第三百多位时就出现了错误,也就是说,他后面二十来年的努力都是白费。科学是容不得半点马虎的,多番维尔如果能在工作过程中经常客观地审查自己的步骤和数据,就可能不会留下这个遗憾了。科学如此,人生又何尝不是?常常听人后悔自己什么做得不好,什么不该做,事后再多的悔恨也于事无补,我们应该从中吸取教训,对“出”的意义有一个更好的认识。

We should learn from it and have a better understanding of the meaning of "going out".

有人说,我们不能决定生命的长度,却能增加它的深度;我们不能改变生命的数量,却能提高它的质量。我们要把握好“入”和“出”,用“入”来增加人生的深度,用“出”来提高生命的质量,出入之间,创造成功的人生。
