“东有灯台西有鹅，南有马鞍北有雀”这两句在民间流传很广的诗句记载了桂中着名商埠——龙城的四大着名景点。如今，这四大着名景点风光依旧，在人民的呵护下更焕发了青春的魅力。而现在的柳州，成为了一道道亮丽的风景线的却要数那飞架柳江南北，绚丽多姿，造型优美的座座大桥。
"There are lanterns in the East, geese in the west, and sparrows in the South and saddle in the north" are two popular verses that record the four famous scenic spots of Longcheng, a famous commercial port in Central Guangxi. 我的家乡柳州地处桂中腹，上连风景名城桂林，下接广西首府南宁，成为广西的交通枢纽，但“江流曲似九回肠”这独特的地貌，使柳州市被柳江隔成环抱葫芦半岛的河南河北两大块，桥梁成为南北交通急需解决的大问题，成为龙城人民历史的期盼。
Liuzhou, my hometown, is located in the middle of Guangxi, connecting Guilin, a famous scenic city, and Nanning, the capital of Guangxi. It has become the transportation hub of Guangxi. 小时候，我曾听外祖父说过一段美丽的传说，柳江河上架起了一座浮桥！那时，浮桥是柳江河上仅有的一座木制桥。浮桥下方是用一排由几十条相扣的小船垫起，上面铺上一层厚厚的木版，用十分粗的绳子简单的做成护栏，车辆不能通行，且每当刮风下大雨，行人稀少，每当夏水襄陵，水流湍急，又得把浮桥拆掉。这座浮桥的系连着我母亲的童年，留下母亲成长的足迹。

倘若是登上马鞍山，眺望柳州，无论白天黑夜，展现在你眼前的都是一幅美丽的柳州画卷。白天，在阳光的照耀下，这桥显得愈发精神，柳江桥是钢筋混凝土浇筑成的，它以自己古色古香的韵味，给人以朴实无华的感觉。在桥上有精雕细琢的图案，有的是一面五星红旗，有的是党旗，有的是旭日东升的情景……二桥像一条龙卧在柳江上方，在这蓝天碧水中，它还在熟睡。三桥又称壶东大桥，它穿着现代化的服饰，走向新时代，在它宽敞平坦的桥面上，给予行人和车辆方便。四桥又叫壶西大桥，是一座拉索桥，单靠一个桥墩支撑着，我想它是这些桥中独立性最强的吧！从桥的一端放眼望去，蓝天碧水之间，像出了一条彩虹。文惠桥虽然桥面只能单行车辆，但却是这五座大桥最为夺目的，它的除尘脱俗，给人以清新自然的感觉，何等美妙！它的飘飘欲仙给人以遐想的感觉，何等神奇！它的瑰丽多彩让人流连忘返，何等奇丽！它有四个桥墩，三个桥拱，像一座彩虹桥似的。

晚上，整个龙城便成了灯的海洋，星的世界，而这五座桥在柳江河上可谓是出尽了风头。柳江桥上的两排柔和的光，保留着特定年代的古色韵味；二桥，三桥及四桥灯火通明，像是嵌上了珠宝似的，在夜里闪闪发亮；文惠桥则撒下了珠光宝气，把柳江河映红了，把桥的两端照亮了，成了龙城晚上的夜明珠。
In the evening, the whole dragon city becomes a sea of lights and a world of stars, and these five bridges are in the limelight of Liujiang River.
