蚂蚁一遍爬树一遍唱歌，唱着唱着下起了大雨。蚂蚁看见了松鼠的家，就爬过去着急的敲门，松鼠妈妈把门打开，让他到屋里来避避雨，休息休息。
松鼠妈妈蚂蚁：“你来这干嘛呀，对你来说多危险的？”蚂蚁意志坚定地说：“我要爬到天上去”。松鼠妈妈说：“这么高的树，你能爬上去吗？”蚂蚁自信地说：“我能行，只要一步一步不停地爬，就一定能爬到天上”。
雨停了，天也亮了，蚂蚁告别了松鼠妈妈，就继续往上爬。蚂蚁经历了千辛万苦，终于爬到了天上。在天上，他遇到了仙女姐姐，她们正在快乐的玩游戏，开心的不得了。仙女姐姐看到了爬上来的蚂蚁，问：“你是怎么上来的阿？”蚂蚁说：“我是从通天树爬上来的呀”。仙女姐姐都很惊讶！她们把自己最喜爱的花环送给了蚂蚁，而且还给蚂蚁竖起了大拇指。蚂蚁感到幸福极了，他凭借自己的努力收获了成功。
