在我过生日的时候，妈妈为我买了一只小乌龟。从此，我和它就成了好朋友。
小乌龟有一双黑鼓鼓的圆眼睛，三角形的小嘴，龟壳上有呈菱形的花纹，长着一条细而短的尾巴，显得非常可爱。
小乌龟的胆子非常的小。有一次，我用一根细树枝轻轻的碰了一下它的龟壳，只见它一下子就把头和尾巴缩进了壳里，逗得我哈哈大笑。
小乌龟爱吃肉，而且最爱吃鱼肉。有一次，我把一块鱼肉轻轻的放在它的面前，只见它小心翼翼的爬到鱼肉前，先用鼻子碰了碰鱼肉，确保安全后才津津有味地吃了起来。
后来我查了一些有关乌龟的资料，了解到乌龟的寿命很长，有的长达一千多年。乌龟也非常好睡，一年至少要睡近10个月。龟壳起到保护乌龟的作用。
今天我可真高兴，因为我知道了更多有关乌龟的知识。
